Zelio Routines (“the App”) is a privacy-focused reminder and routine tracking app designed to work primarily on your device. Your data is yours.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Zelio.
1. Information We Collect
Zelio does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location.
We do not collect:
- Personal identifiers
- Contact information
- Usage tracking data
- Advertising identifiers
- Analytics linked to you
- Health data sent to external servers
2. Data Stored on Your Device
All reminders, routines, notes, completion logs, and related data are stored locally on your device using Apple’s system storage.
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly enable iCloud sync.
3. iCloud Sync (Optional)
If you choose to enable iCloud syncing:
- Your data may be stored securely in your personal iCloud account
- Syncing is handled entirely by Apple’s iCloud and CloudKit services
- Zelio does not have access to your iCloud account or Apple ID
iCloud data is governed by Apple’s privacy and security policies.
4. Notifications
Zelio uses local notifications to remind you of scheduled tasks, routines, and reminders.
Notification content is generated on your device and is not transmitted to any external servers.
5. Purchases and Subscriptions
Zelio offers optional paid features, including Zelio Pro, through Apple’s App Store.
• All purchases and subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
• Zelio does not collect, receive, or store your credit card number, banking information, or other payment credentials.
• Apple may process information related to your purchase or subscription in accordance with Apple’s privacy policies.
• Zelio uses RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to help verify purchases, manage subscription status, and determine access to paid features.
RevenueCat may process limited technical and transaction information necessary to provide these services, such as device or platform information, purchase receipts, transaction information, subscription status, and entitlement status.
Zelio does not use RevenueCat for advertising.
6. Third-Party Services
Zelio does not use third-party advertising networks or advertising trackers.
Zelio uses limited third-party services necessary to provide app functionality, including:
Apple — Provides App Store purchases and subscriptions, iCloud and CloudKit services, and other system-level functionality.
RevenueCat — Helps Zelio manage purchases, subscriptions, and access to Zelio Pro features. RevenueCat may process limited technical and transaction information necessary to verify purchases and maintain subscription and entitlement status.
Information processed by these third-party services is subject to their respective privacy policies.
Zelio does not sell your personal information or use your information for third-party advertising.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Zelio does not retain your data outside of your device or iCloud.
You can delete all locally stored data by deleting the app from your device.
If iCloud sync is enabled, data stored in iCloud can be managed or deleted through your iCloud account settings.
8. Children’s Privacy
Zelio is not directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to the app or legal requirements.
Any updates will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date.
